Since the beginning of the year I have been busy with my boyfriend Kevin and our band The Smiling Eyes. Writing, recording, and back to design work, the resulting product being the yet-to-be-released EP "The Weather In Here". We are in the final stages of this lengthy process, waiting for our friend Josh Korody to complete mixing and mastering the album. Having designed the artwork for the release since the most infant stages of writing and recording, I've hesitated in releasing anything to the public. As the date of unveiling approaches, I deem this an acceptable time to share it with you.
I design t-shirts

You have read correctly: I design t-shirts on top of all the other nonsense. This is in response to several inquiries I've had, (understandably) based on the fact that I haven't a portfolio for apparel design - not yet anyway. The reason being that I haven't had much to show in such a portfolio, but I will soon. My Facebook page has a couple samples of my work in apparel design, and there will be updates soon. Most recently I have provided designs for The Smiling Eyes and Through These Words (as mentioned in my previous blog entry). Go look, and be assured that I can indeed provide this type of service. Unless you're a butthead.
Through These Words

Local band Through These Words have a new logo and some merchandise as well. I designed it. And although requiring a more lengthy development process than some past clients, this project allowed me to exercise my abilities in areas where I had little room to do so before (or rather, little cause); their needs were very specific, and at times somewhat of a challenge meet. This occasion was also one of the first in which I had been able to design apparel (which you will not see in the portfolio for a time, until I have more to show). I thank the band for the opportunity. I had fun with this project, and look forward to more.
